Summertime...and the livin' is easy!

Heigh Ho, happy campers! I know things have been buzzing around here, probably at your house too!!

We had a great Father's Day barbeque with THREE fathers there! That would be Ken, Hassan and Bobby. We made skewers of chicken and veggies on the grill, and then Reza made his world famous CORN! The food was good, the company relaxed and the weather was perfect... just like everyone thinks California is like on a good day!

Rez and I stayed up late on the Thursday before Toy Story 3 came out so that we could go to the midnight show and see it in 3D with three hundred other fanatic, many of whom were high school students!

It was a good show, something for everyone... a little romance, a lot of adventure and a whole bunch of great TOYS!!

Speaking of toys, this is my new one:

It's a Blendtec blender that will pulverize the sH** out of anything it comes in contact with! My favorite trick is to watch it make almond milk from almonds, water, honey and ice. Amazing! In this picture it appears that I am making soup from cherry tomatoes, spinach, carrots, onion, soup mix, taco seasonings and water. The centrifical force heats it up, so it is warm or hot soup from the blender! Wow! How cool!! I have been making green smoothies for breakfast, green and healthy!! This afternoon, I made apricot smoothies for Rez and his mom and dad using the apricots from our tree. Now, how cool is THAT?!

Well, almost cooler than that was catching the Mrs. Grossman's Sticker yearly sticker sale in Petaluma. I had never been to the factory, so that was a double treat for me!

The warehouse sale was crowded with lots of good buys and lots of nice buyers!

After the sale, my intrepid gang and I went to Occidental for lunch at the Union Hotel... (omg, those raviolis were spectacular!) and a walk around Armstrong Grove out of Guerneville. We had a nice drive... beautiful weather for walking around the redwoods!

Lately, Rez's project has been to mount the satellite dish so that his mom and dad can watch persian television while they are at the Esther House. He has been working on this project quite diligently. Here he is the master of his domain:

Here is the wide view of his project:

Can you see the large screen in the bushes that he checks as he turns the satellite?

Well, here's hoping that all of your projects are successful!
Love you, love you, love you!!
